The Grand & Glam Betrothal at the Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur

Here we go with one more class and gorgeous Wedding affair of Anuj & Sonal, celebrated in the city of lakes & love -Udaipur, at the most magnificent venue -Taj Palace, Udaipur. Their grand & glam wedding festivities kickstarted with a fun-filled Haldi, Mehndi followed by Sangeet and then the most awaited day- the Wedding day! Bringing in a charming aura with all mesmerizing layouts, 7x Weddings made sure that the majestic venue was exquisitely decorated for the events, throwing a hint of personal detailings!

Painting all the hands yellow for the Haldi ceremony

The Haldi ceremony of Sonal & Anuj was all about creating moments of delightful tangles and unbridled joy… and we're swooning over the gushing couple! The Haldi decor was full of fresh yellows, oranges and whites! Along with a Rajasthani touch, we went with beautiful dream catchers and gota hangings to light up the lake facing the Haldi ceremony. We kept it minimal and on the point though went a little extravagant with the shades of yellow flowers to deck up the photo spot. We went for some cute flowery love-birds themed corners adding small decor detailings to them. Packed with oodles of spiritual celebrations and fun-filled shenanigans, Sonal & Anuj’s haldi was absolutely a remarkable medley of traditionalism & modernity.

Mehendi Rasam

After the vibrant Haldi ceremony, Sonal & Anuj celebrated a hep multicoloured sundowner mehndi which was brimming with ogle-worthy decor items. Right from the impressive entrance of flower bouquets, colourful umbrellas and wooden decor elements to the colourful sitting lounges, everything was inked in lively tints. A lot of folk dancers and performers were brought on board, to keep the guests entertained. Also, the bride & groom’s hands were inked by the skilled mehndi artists with the auspicious henna.

For the mehndi, Sonal wore a pristine pink & orange sequinned lehenga with a contrast dupatta. Anuj, meanwhile, picked a leafy green patola kurta with whitish pyjama and perfectly paired it up with cute leheriya saffa. The themed decor went perfectly with their attires and did wonders for their memorable picture perfect moments. The Mehendi decor despite being a simple and classic one, it surely teamed up with the traditional Rajasthani touch!

The Glamourous Sangeet Saga

Festooned with sparkling lights, cascading decor elements, crystallised chandeliers & stunning floral arrangements, the Sangeet was one gala celebration. With the groovy moves, the night glimpsed everyone dancing crazily & setting the temperatures high! Adding a personal touch with glamouring up the fountain space, we decorated it with floating florals and beautiful candles, surrounded by shimmery seating arrangement and a fairy light draping above the serene open space. Nevertheless, the showstopper for the night was the lovely couple- Anuj &Sonal. The two not only left everyone awestruck with their sizzling dance performance but also with their sartorial choices!

Sonal literally shone like a star in her scintillating golden shimmery outfit sprinkled with metallic charms, that added to the glow of the decor night! Anuj, on the other hand, looked like a debonair groom, all set to level up the wedding theme game!

The Grand & Glam Wedding & Reception

Sonal & Anuj’s glamorous wedlock was a visual treat to our eyes at the grand Taj Palace, Udaipur. The festivities took place in an outdoor setting before the royal mini fountain lake and the venue was beautifully adorned in surreal floral arrangements. The entrance area was prettified with minimal floral bouquets and elegant candle lights adding lustre to the grandeur. The wedding stage where all the action took place was also adorned with a purple & red floral embedded backdrop, and stunning chandeliers which added truckloads of charm to their solemnisation. We loved how the groom made a spectacular entry to the venue with all the baraatis, while the bride walked down the aisle under a phenomenal ‘phoolon ki chadar. Speaking for the mandap it was one breathtaking dreamy decor of pink & purple florals along with white floral adorns from the roof.

The wedding festivities were a class apart as Sonal looked like a royal queen at her wedding. Taking their coordination game a notch above, Anuj picked up a stylish beige sherwani which was replete with elegant violet floral embroideries. The gorgeous couple totally complimented the decor and turned out to be the perfect center of attraction!
