Misaal & Dipika’s Glamorous Wedding brimming with Decor inspiration
Wedding events that give memories for a Lifetime.
We at “7X Weddings” always aim to encapsulate your memories so that when you open the “Yaadon ka Pitara”, you are reminded of how beautifully you spent your time when you got married. And we did the same for Misaal and Dipika for their wedding, filled with the Fun and Frolic Mehendi, A Sufi Night and followed by Bhaat and Sangeet Night which was leading us to the final day of the fiesta to Braj Ki Holi and Wedding Night. There is a long-lost saying that “A human eye is the best camera in the world!”. And we could not agree more. It is not only what you see but also what you smell, hear and what you taste, which an eye remembers that is perfectly captured by the "Reels & Frames".
The Bold & Colourful Mehendi
The colourful settings at Dipika's home sweet home combined with yellow and orange marigold flowers took our breaths away. A French horn was the bride’s favourite which reminded her of the significant Blue French Horn from a famous series. We decorated the bride’s residence at Baroda and personalised her wishes- all grand & gorgeous. An imperial stage was set to bask in the glory of the family’s dances. And where there are Dhol Walas, the bounce on your feet is inevitable. The energy changed with the Bride’s Entry with Dhol Walas, and it marked the beginning of the Event. Bold nuances of customisation can be seen with The Potli Center, The Tarot Card Reader and The Dupattas and Masks Center. We also made a separate Kids Area where they could have all the fun minus any band-aids. The event saw many delicacies from around the world being served, ranging from Mughlai to Asian food, with kids enjoying the Dessert Bar the most. In all, this event marked the start of an even more charged 4-day Fiesta!
The bride Dipika looked stunning in her salmon pink and golden dress, which only extenuated the colour of her quirky and brightly dolled up Mehendi ceremony. The bride is the most important person at a wedding. And yes, she certainly felt like a queen with her family members besides her, glorifying her beauty. Honestly, her portraits are out of this world!
The Royal Welcome & the Glorious Sufi Night
Nothing speaks Indian Tradition more than the Welcome of our guests by Tikkas and Garlands and Potli. It is considered an auspicious and humble way of welcoming someone to celebrate the festivities.
A deep sea blue green combined with white and gold was the color theme of the Sufi Night at YMCA, Ahmedabad. The attention to detail was immaculate with Blue and White Ajrak Prints coming from the most articulate artisans of Gujarat. Gleaming lanterns were seen hanging along with Hand Paintings from across the world signifying a deep connection with the theme of the event: Sufi. Our aim with this theme was to give each attendee a calming effect where we wanted them to enter a world of relaxation and soothe. Even the Bride and Groom’s Entry was devised specially to align with the theme who were welcomed by dancers in their Sufiyana Andaz. All of this to prepare for the day to come!
And wait, let us assure you the cake did not only look good, it also tasted out-of-the-world! Perfectly complemented the couple!
Obviously if the great RituRaj Khanna designs a space and event it could be no lesser than this. The venue was also turned to its sparkling beauty.
The traditional touch of Bhaat Ceremony
If you could sense the calm on the previous night, it was just the calm before a storm! Because Mamaji woke everyone up with a whole 21-man Band! Sharply dressed, chest swollen with excitement and pride, it marked the start of yet another energy filled event: The Bhaat Ceremony at the grand- Taj Skyline, Ahmedabad. Singers singing, family members dancing, enjoying, celebrating the fact that you are getting married. It embarks upon you a sense of pride that these people are a part of your life. Happy when you are happy. Sad when you are sad. This is rare. A feeling of holding on to it seeps your way into your heart. Hold on to it, This is rare!
All the glittering & rustic at Sangeet Night
The scene was set, everyone was going to travel back in time! A modernized twist with the rustic setting attaching you to your roots. Let us tell you, there is nothing more that says grandeur than our rustic decoration of the Sangeet Night. It connects you with nature and all its beauty so that you are left mesmerized. The word creative comes from the word ‘create’ and we surely created a masterpiece with this wooden-chic rustic look. The pathway was laden with wooden roots and linings of fragrant leaves, which was then topped with LED strips. A portal to travel into time, right?
The entry of the Bride and Groom was equally majestic. They entered as how they made each other feel: on cloud nine and fireworks in their hearts. It signified their entry into a lifetime of happiness. The Anchor of the show really kept the audience on their toes because it felt everything came straight out of a Bollywood movie. The integration of both the families into each other’s life was about to start. The journey was going to be filled with dances, laughter and “Muh Mitha”. Even the kids could not stop themselves from dancing to their favorite tunes and welcoming both families. But wait, the Groom, had an exceptional performance for his Bride to be. It was choreographed so enchantingly! It almost felt like a dream!
Bright colours & loud laughs at Braj ki Holi
The next day was a blessed one. In the honor of Shrinathji, the manifestation of Lord Krishna as a seven-year-old child, the family gathered to play Holi with orange and yellow flower petals. This event was set in motion at Taj Skyline, Ahmedabad by a performance by a dance troupe in which the main character was played by Lord Krishna himself and Maa Radha. Their love story has set the path for many of their followers, and this was evident in the show. Connecting to someone on a spiritual level is the path to your happiness. This was succeeded by blessings to the Bride and Groom by every family member. The wholesome vibe of the event touched you to your core and made you feel happy sharing and making memories with your loved ones.
The grand Big Red Wedding & Reception
Finally, the D-day had arrived. All of this was leading up to this day. The wedding day! The conceptualisation of the Benaras Theme took us a great deal of effort but what came out was beyond our imagination.
The most prominent and one of our biggest Mandaps executing not only class in its humongous attire but also the lavish setting of the holy Fire, we are sure it will be gazed upon by you too. A Temple Setup with Hangings of Flowers and Bells, with a Lotus Fire pit in the middle, the imminent use of the color red, you know we were going all out! The comfortable mattress seating and the waterfall background all created a sense of trust and peace.
The reception stage was the final destination of our masterpiece. Set in the tone of the most prominent temples of India, the reception stage said it all! The pillar setting, the bell hanging corner, the enormous entrance, the giant gazebos, everything was leading to this master stroke. This was not just one master stroke that you would end up winning. This was master stroke after master stroke successively which led you to a masterpiece. It was indeed all the wonders of this beautiful place in Ahmedabad, Andaz.
The Baraat looked ever ready with the amazingly decorated Ghodi and the 35-men band who incited excitement into everyone with their coordinated beats! There was not a single person who was not dancing!
Bidding each other goodbye with a promise to meet more often, the new families had been integrated into each other and are now one big happy family!
