The French Carnival
“Toile De Jouy” was the central theme of the fun and frolicking mehndi that kickstarted the celebrations. The design team of 7X weddings curated their elements based on the basic essence of this theme: Floral and Pastels. Quirky statuettes, and artists in costumes created the aura of a carnival. While generous bunches of carnations spilling from every corner, shaded under the cover of cooling linen fabrics added the French touch. Gorgeous flower shaped mirror tables scattered around the plushiest of rugs and sofas served as cosy corners for the guests as they enjoyed their foot massages. As top wedding planners of India we always strive towards making each event unique, so we curated a lot of interactive components like make your own perfumes, block printing and mixology bar to involve the guests. What stole the show however was the kissing booth and the bell ringing photobooth which had everyone giggling with excitement. It pleased our hearts to see the sea of smiling faces, the biggest testimony of a job done well.
Haldi ki Holi
Teal blue, Pink and Orange : what an unusual combination ! But then it is our unique creativity and flawless execution that has time and again won 7X Weddings the title of the Best Wedding Planner in India. The poolside of the luxurious JW Marriott Prestige Golfshire Resort Bengaluru came alive with yards of fabric flowing gently in the breeze, while the smell of the delicate blossoms wafted in the air. Strings of tasselled genda beautified the long textiled archways while bunches of sunflowers blended beautifully with the theme. Golden lotus shaped urli filled with aromatic rose petals served as the enamelled throne for the bride and groom as the family showered them with their love and blessings. There was a rainbow hue in the air as the guests coloured each other with fervour.
Dulhe ka Birthday
The festivities became doubly special with the groom’s birthday. And oh boy, did we celebrate it in style ! The decor was a blend of a nightclub cum gaming room, with LED jungle motifs, lit up arched cubicles and geometrical lights draping the ceiling. The metallic high chair and table surrounding the sangria bar created the vibe of a French pub. The bride wanted to give her groom a private concert on his birthday, and through our extensive artist collaborations, team 7X weddings hosted Sukhbir to light the night on fire. WedFlix Night
Award Night, Musical Show, Futuristic, Larger than Night :- these were some of the ideas projected by the couple for their Sangeet. They could not choose, and we thrive on challenges. So what did we do ? Curated an elegant and beautiful amalgamation of all their ideas. We used a variety of mediums and materials to give life to our designs. No single element stole the show, instead it was a smooth and seamless blend of many unique pieces. Thick columns of flowers entwined together, serpentine spiral bouquet and test tubes holding delicate baby breath twigs added a dash of white, while the silvery tissue created an oceanic haze under the azure lights. Extensive use of carved woodwork and elaborate set and props added magic to the performances while the bar stood tall and proud in the centre with its tower of led lights spreading upward and outwards to cover the venue. Our favourite element was the “s” shaped dining tables adorned with candles and blossoms creating a grand yet cosy feel. We take great pride in what we created here, and are happy to add another to the list of events meticulously executed by the entire unit of 7X weddings.
The Riviera Wedding
White : the colour of purity, perfection and new beginnings. The colour we choose to highlight for this auspicious occasion,so as to create the feel of a French wedding. A bold move as white is rarely the centrepiece at an Indian wedding. The result was beyond what we had expected and we are still awestruck with what we pulled off. The magnus opus was a gigantic fountain-like structure created using white blossoms which spread its sweet fragrance across the venue. Canopy fashioned out of delicate mirror work fabric, housing low lying chandeliers and flowers made for cosy sit outs. The reception stage was fashioned like a candelabrum made of strings of fragrant white rajnigandha while the mandap, filled with strands of white lilies and bordered with scalloped garlands stole the show with its simple elegance. Smoke machines created a pathway for the bride to walk through and it seemed as though she was gliding through a field of clouds to meet her groom. Every part of the event was perfectly orchestrated and it felt like a piece of heaven on earth.
