Vaibhav and Masoomi ki Muskurati Mehfil
The date was fixed and the venue decided, the only thing left to do was to plan the event. Vaibhav and Masoomi had a very clear vision about the look for each event, all they needed was someone to make it a reality and for that they chose 7X weddinsg to lead the way.
Every function was discussed in detail and curated carefully to incorporate all requirements of the family. Phoolon ki Haldi
The bright yellow hue of turmeric is considered auspicious and believed to ward off the evil eye. The family showers their love and blessings on the couple and herald the start of the wedding celebrations with this ceremony. Keeping in mind the sanctity of the function, we at 7x Weddings decided to keep the decor bright and sunny, yet simple so as to not overshadow or overpower the importance of the function. Flower was the main element of our designs and we chose bright orange and yellow marigold to blend in with the theme of the event and to showcase the traditionality of the event. Thick overlapping scallops of flowers welcomed the guests into a space elegantly spruced up with potted sunflowers, while the silhouette of Lord Ganesha made out of fresh flowers stole the show. Golden lotus urli filled to the brim with yellow buds housed richly inlaid stools for the couple to sit on as their family smeared them with ocher hues of love. The only thing that glowed brighter than the room was the happy faces of the couple.
Disco Deewane
The sangeet was the epitome of glitz and glamour. The couple wanted to transport their family and friends into a night of bollywood style masti and dhamaal, and chose to have some professional artist along with the family performances to add a dash of magic to the night. The team at 7X weddings, took to the drawing board and worked hard at creating a never seen before event. The entrance into the venue was a long pathway created using rows upon rows of purple LED lights on the floor as well as ceiling to mimic the feel of a discotheque. Giant chandelier fashioned out of strings of crystals hanging from a thick band of exotic flowers lined the ceiling and made the room sparkle like a diamond. Small tables with name tags and floral arrangements were scattered around the room to create the look of a formal award night while the walls had arches covered in cascading flowers to recreate a European countryside. The centre of the room was converted into a makeshift stage by a troupe of artists holding up mirrors while the bride and groom danced in the middle. Mesmerising performances by musicians clad in glow in the dark outfits gave way to a night of feet stomping music and the family was seen grooving to it till late into the night.
Cocktails in the Enchanting Gardens
“Alluring,Enthralling,Hypnotic” were the keywords given to us by the couple, beyond which we were given free rein to visualise, design and curate the entire event. The excitement within camp 7X Weddings was palpable, and the design team could not wait to experiment and play with new elements and ideas. We decided to create the look of an underwater garden of Eden. The ceiling was covered in blue fabric to create the feel of flowing water while all other elements of the decor were in shades of green to create the soothing glow of a cool and refreshing garden. Glass panels were used to create a greenhouse style dome covered in thick foliage to serve as the entrance to the venue. Inside the room every surface was artistically covered in fresh leafy greens to mimic the feel of a lush garden. Tables suspended on frames covered with climbers and plush green chairs carried on the theme gracefully, while the couple were seated on a sofa encircled in floral arrangement placed under a tree laden with flowers. The soothing jade-like glow and the soft aroma of the blooms created a heady mix and the guests were left in awe, while we at 7X Weddings took a graceful bow to mark another successful event.
Blooming Wedding
The family wanted the freshness and vibrancy of fresh flowers to mark the start of the new journey for the besotted couple. All our design ideas and elements centred around exotic blooms and the aim was to use a variety of florets to showcase the grandeur of the venue. We put together a unique entrance combining geometric cutouts with delicate flowers to create a maze type walkway lined with overflowing bundles of thick fragrant flowers. Inside the venue simple straight lined elements were elegantly covered in floral arrangements to enhance the vastness of the space. The magnus opus was the central chandelier fashioned out of lights to look like delicate blooming petals under which a troupe of musicians played classical music to lend a royal touch to the evening. The bride made a graceful entry gliding along a mobile carved metal frame while the groom looked dashing as he walked amongst sentries holding up richly embroidered velvety scarlet emblems. The pillar of the mandap was elegantly draped in baby pink blooms while stems of orchid provided a covering overhead. The reception stage stood tall like a fort wall, with niches lit up by chandeliers and flowers cascading downwards. Minimalistic grandeur is what team 7X wedding had envisioned for this event and we delivered just that.
