Siddharth Nimisha - A Traditional Indian Wedding
The besotted couple wanted a simple, traditional wedding with a touch of glitz and glamour. Their emphasis was to maintain the sanctity of each function and focus on the significance of each ritual, but at the same time have a fun and unique element that would be larger than life and leave a lasting impact in the minds of all present to bless their union. Maintaining the balance and yet creating an event worthy of the couple was a challenge thrown at us, and the entire team at 7X Wedding met it head on with their usual determination and beautifully curated and executed a flawless series of events.
Bling It On
The festivities began with a glittering bollywood night. Disco balls, shimmering cut glass lights and pristine white florals set against ebony black were the main elements of the decor. A modern and contemporary entryway was created using glass-like surfaces on the floor and walls which reflected the shimmering sequined ceiling, and sparkled like the mirrored balls hanging overhead. This was beautifully contrasted with the natural beauty of fragrant white blooms giving the entire setting a visually stunning and esthetic look. Elegant and enchanting sit outs were created using drapes of black fabric and fairy lights to house the dining area. The shimmering focus lights and the foot tapping music of the DJ made the guests grace the dancefloor till dawn.
Hariyali Mehendi
The families wanted the mehandi function to be a low key, simple affair curated for just their near and dear ones. Team 7X wedding decided to create the ambience of a heritage house courtyard to grace the event. A background depicting the mughal gardens was draped behind soft plum sofas to create a royal look. Ethnic umbrellas brightened up the venue as they provided shade to the lovely ladies getting their hands adorned by artists sitting on colourful woven pouffes, while richly enamelled stools were strategically placed for them to rest their feet on.
Vibrant Haldi
Taking advantage of the crisp winter air we kept this function in the sprawling lush garden. The team at 7X Wedding decided to work around several design elements that stood out on their own yet beautifully complemented each other. One striking setup was the silhouette of a couples head adorned with beautiful florals which, along with the unique installation of a swing framed between stunning exotic flowers were used by the merry guests for their photo shoot. Local handcrafted bangles and purses gifted to the ladies added a pop of colour while the puppet show had the guests enthralled. The soothing colour palette of the ambience and the subtle aroma of the contrasting lavender flowers had guests basking in the sun, and this marked the execution of another successful event.
Mathura ka Mayra
No one defines love as finely as Krishna and Radha, and that was the theme for this event that preceded the holy union of the besotted couple. A series of archways decked with floral white strings formed the pathway to welcome the guests, while the family made their grand entry on a mobile stage, a unique never seen before touch added by our team at 7X wedding. An ornate arch, plush crimson red sofas and a troupe of talented dancers added a royal grace as the stage slowly made its way towards the venue. The space was aesthetically decorated with metallic lotus and urns overflowing with flowers. A beautiful regal chair placed below a pearly white peacock fashioned completely out of flowers was the perfect for capturing memories and further enhancing the look of Mathura. The only thing more radiant than the venue were the happy glowing faces of the family as they got together in unstopped revelry.
Sizzling Sangeet
Timeless Grace was the keywords for this event. A golden soft glow, mesmerising antique chandeliers and exquisitely carved backdrops are the favourite elements of our design team at 7X Weddings, and we used them freely to create the perfect look desired by the family. A long path created out of rich maroon fabric lined with chandeliers and exotic flowers created the perfect entry point for the guest to take in the beauty of the night. An installation of multiple low level metallic frames encasing voluminous chandeliers provided a cosy glow for the photos as the families made their way in. The couple wanted their entry to be a grand symbol of love. Taking inspiration from the Taj Mahal we curated a series of stunningly carved mughal style arched installations embedded with mirrors. A troupe of talented dancers positioned themselves in the niches and danced merrily to welcome the lovely couple, the complete look was a sight to behold and we take great pride in giving the couple just what their hearts desired. This event was one of our personal favourites as we got the opportunity to create a masterpiece.
The Royal Wedding
For their big day the couple wanted to go traditional, Simple yet Grand was the brief given to us. An extensive use of reds, soft glow of diyas, mesmerising aroma of jasmine and candelabras were the elements we all agreed upon at 7X Wedding. The groom arrived on a horse while the bride walked under a crimson odhani held up high by her brothers. The couple were led towards their union by a troupe of dancing girls holding candelabras and men holding masts of richly embroidered fabric while the sparkling stars of firecrackers lit up the sky. The mandap was unique in its design, instead of a traditional four pillar canopy the stage was done up like a temple, with ornate pillars and chandeliers bearing arches and a backdrop filled with alternating arches of blood red flowers and diya.
