Charvi and Vishesh’s regal Indian Wedding at Ahmedabad
Charvi and Vishesh wanted their wedding to stand out for its elegance, grace and simplicity. The family wanted their traditions to be incorporated and highlighted at every event. Of course everything was to be planned, managed and executed flawlessly from start to finish, so that the family could enjoy all the fun and festivities hasslefree. After several weeks of meeting and planning it was decided that every theme needed to be unique, yet delicate and sober to not overwhelm the simplicity and sanctity of any of the functions.
Mehndi ki raat
The celebrations started with a bang with an intimate mehendi function. To make the most of the gorgeous early winter days, an open to air rooftop location was selected. A French Riviera vibe with shades of white, pink and purple was created. Gazebos were fashioned out of purple drapes and donned with the freshest greens, encasing within them wooden loungers that created the perfect mood. Every event needs a photo booth and we created two !! A simple wooden frame in the softest of pink decorated with fresh seasonal flowers, and a screen of white arched window frames helped make every picture perfect. The highlight however was a cosy corner created for the couple: a white lounger in a cabana of pink net laden with flowers, and they felt royal for sure. As the sun set, the place was lit up with a million fairy lights strung in a line, providing a roof that twinkled like the stars. Music was pumped up, and everyone got on to the floor to shake a leg and the night ended on a high note.
Haldi ka shagan
Haldi signifies purifying and cleansing of the body, and we did not want the decor to take away the focus from that. White, green and yellow were the colours used to keep in line with the sanctity of the function. Shades of sunshine was the theme and bright blooming flowers were the main element used. Overlapping scallops made out of strings of flowers and folded asopalav beautified the entry to welcome the guests. A wreath of twisted branches and flowers placed in front of a screen created out of banana leaf was the highlight of the room. The lovely couple sat inside a brass urli as their near and dear ones covered them in haldi paste and showered them with their love and blessing. The happy glow and smiles on their faces was enough proof of another flawlessly executed event by team 7X Weddings .
Musical Fiesta
Grand. Festive. Bright. Larger than life.This was the prompt given to us by Charvi and Vishesh for their sangeet and after party. Team 7X Weddings took up the challenge with a gusto and set about designing and curating the most magical night for the besotted couple. We wanted a look of grandeur and glitz and the feel of a rock concert. To create that, the stage backdrop was crafted with screens that had changing graphics to replicate a musical stage. Strobe lights to focus on the dancers, smoke machines to add a dreamy look and fireworks to brighten up the stage as the couple took a bow, tied everything together beautifully. But can any event be complete without a showstopper ? We brought in a team of artists dressed as masked angels to welcome the couple and walk along with them as they entered the venue. A photo corner was created with bright uncut flowers and palm leaves to provide the perfect background to create memories of a lifetime. The guests were left mesmerised and a sea of happy smiling faces could be seen as the night progressed.
Regal Rajputana Wedding
The family wanted the wedding to be a royal event, with shades and hues of Rajasthani grace and elegance. We had a very clear image about the look we wanted for the big day, and all that was needed to be done, to execute it perfectly. A walkway created with strings of delicate white flowers welcomed the guests with their intoxicating aroma, while wooden lamps added a warm glow. A pathway lit up with sparklers welcomed the bride as she walked under a dense canopy of flowers, while a team of artists dressed in traditional Rajasthani attire and holding flaming mashal in their hand led her towards the stage. The groom made a grand entry in a convertible with sparklers in his hand, and a team of artists clad in deep red dhoti holding multi layered umbrellas walked besides him as he made his way to the bride. The mandap was the epitome of beauty and simplicity, with ornate golden bells dangling from strings of flowers as the main element of the decor. Everything was meticulously planned and carried out as desired the family did not have to worry about a thing and could enjoy every moment.
Elegant Reception
The couple wanted the look of this event to be more modern than the other functions. The decor was to be minimalistic with clean cuts and light props to enhance the largeness and openness of the venue. For the entrance we brought out the warmth of the wooden rafters by placing golden candelabras teamed with floral bouquets on the floor of the passage. The stage was highlighted with a backdrop created out of white flowers with inserts of red rose to add a pop of colour and to compliment the bride's dress. A pathway lined with sparklers was created to lead the couple to the stage. Team 7X Weddings showcased the saying “Beauty in Simplicity” through this event.
The team cherished every moment spent organising and executing the celebrations, to mark the union of the lovely couple. Seeing our months and weeks of hard work and dedication taking shape and the happiness it brings to the client is our biggest motivation.
